We, The Love Above acknowledge that the music that we distribute in to the world is inspired by Black culture. We realise that we should be doing more to fight the colour injustices that our brothers and sisters throughout the world are facing.
We stand in solidarity with those in the US, as we also acknowledge that systemic racism is just as present on home turf here in Australia.
All money raised from LAD003 will be donated to The Bail Project in the US. We will be matching all donations until 12/06/2020 and distributing these donations to Victorian Aboriginal Legal Aid, Children's Ground & Warriors of Aboriginal Resistance.
We (The Love Above) promise to educate ourselves further on how we can directly influence and change the systemic injustices today. #blacklivesmatter to us, and they are the reason we get to do what we love every single day...
